EMERGENCY ROOM TECHNICIAN (FT NIGHTS)

Job Title

Responsible for patient care/service and assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Henderson Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of acute care and specialty hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Henderson Hospital has also been honored by The Leapfrog Group as a Top General Hospital, a Top Teaching Hospital and earned the "A" Patient Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group during its last 13 award cycles. In spring 2024, Henderson Hospital was also named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals by Fortune and Premier's PINC AITM. The hospital opened in 2016.

Qualifications

• Shift: FULL TIME NIGHTS
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department preferred. Techs working with IVs must have successfully completed an IV course.
• License/Certification: Current BCLS certification required. Approved Crisis Management Course required. Certificate of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course preferred. Certified Phlebotomist preferred. IV Certification preferred.
