Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 Pay Grade: 15 Job Summary Working as an EVS Director, you will direct and lead all operational aspects of the Housekeeping Department, coordinating the tasks of Assistant Directors and Operations Managers, and serving as a liaison between administration and hospital departments. Key Responsibilities Responsible for department’s financial data and statistics Monitoring of unit expenditures Develop, recommend department operating budget and ensure the department operates within budget Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments Actively communicate with administration and other hospital departments Plan, prioritize, direct, coordinate, and supervise functions and activities of the department Establish work standards and workflow Establish and implement policies and procedures for departmental operations Encourage and mentor staff creativity and innovation Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies Proactively achieve facility goals and objectives Demonstrate quality leadership in meeting performance plans Read, develop, and coordinate Total Quality Management process Develop and maintain job descriptions for department staff Encourage staff to participate in education programs Preferred Qualifications Four year college degree and equivalent related experience required Five years of housekeeping management experience at a healthcare account required Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data General business acuity Excellent interpersonal skills High customer service and quality demeanor Ability to work under pressure and meet established criteria Public speaking skills Ability to apply a participative approach to leading staff, coordinate and prioritize tasks, and develop budgets with a full understanding of facility needs and requirements Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through with associates and clients required Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance / AD Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Flexible Time Off Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Paid Parental Leave Personal Leave Associates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
