Sales Administrator

Sales AdministratorThe Sales Administrator is responsible for managing and tracking customer quotations throughout the entire sales cycle. This role serves as a key support function to the sales and proposals team by ensuring quotes are accurately entered, updated, monitored, and communicated through the sales process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in CRM systems, with experience using Salesforce preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, enter, and maintain customer quotations in company systems.Track all quotations from initial request through final disposition (won, lost, or pending).Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quote revisions, and status updates.Monitor quote validity dates and proactively follow up with sales representatives on outstanding opportunities.Update and maintain customer and opportunity data within Salesforce CRM.Generate regular reports on quote activity, pipeline status, and sales metrics.Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, documentation, and customer correspondence.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to sales documentation.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quote management and sales processes.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree or Associate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.PreferredExperience using Salesforce CRM.1-3 years of experience in sales administration, sales support, customer service, or related administrative roles.Experience managing quotations, order processing, or sales pipeline activities.Knowledge of CRM systems and sales processes.Key CompetenciesAttention to DetailCustomer FocusData ManagementOrganization and PlanningProblem SolvingTeam CollaborationFollow-Through and AccountabilityTime ManagementReports to the Director of Pricing & ProposalsLocation: Overland Park, KS, hybrid Employment Type: Full-TimeEqual Opportunity Employer: Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, citizenship, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran's status, age or disability, M/F/D/V.
