The Production Test Technician is responsible for testing and validating the performance, safety, capacity, compliance, and functionality of manufactured products, including skids, cartridges, oil reservoirs, and electrical control boxes .

The technician will collect and document test data for the Engineering and Production teams before finished products are commissioned and delivered to customers. This role works closely with the Quality team to ensure all products meet required standards and specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Test and validate products for safety, capacity, compliance, and performance .
• Examine and troubleshoot specific components and aspects of products during testing.
• Perform testing activities according to established procedures and under the guidance of the Quality team.
• Collect, record, and compile test data for Project, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams .
• Maintain accurate hydrotest logs and testing documentation .
• Follow Safe Work Permits (SWP) and applicable safety procedures when performing hydrotesting.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards .
• Maintain testing tools, equipment, and tooling in safe and proper working condition.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required .
• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field preferred .
• HAZWOPER or other OSHA certifications are a strong plus .
• Experience in a manufacturing, testing, mechanical, electrical, or industrial environment is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mechanically oriented with good troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to safely lift, handle, and operate heavy electrical or industrial equipment.
• Experience with high-pressure or high-voltage systems is a plus .
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and completing electronic or paper forms .
• Ability to follow safety procedures, testing instructions, and technical documentation.
• Forklift experience/certification is a plus .
• Ability to work safely in a hands-on manufacturing and testing environment.
