Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant in Northridge, CA . This role is in person / onsite with the possibility of occasional travel to nearby clinics.

Position Type: Six-Month Contract, possibility of an extension

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Location: Northridge, CA

Job Responsibilities:

· Room patients and prepare them for examinations

· Obtain and document vital signs

· Perform venipuncture and administer injections

· Chart patient information in the EMR

· Answer phones and assist with patient communication

· Complete assigned clinical and administrative tasks

· Provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment

Qualifications:

· Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)

· Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience

· Venipuncture and injection experience

· Strong patient care and communication skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience using EPIC EMR

· Bilingual

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
