RN Emergency Department

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend Shift: 3/12's Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS, preferred TNCC Must-Have: - BSN - ACLS - BLS Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals. Ensures implementation of solutions. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
