Cyber Engineer – Compliance

The Cyber Engineer – Compliance is responsible for implementing, sustaining, and validating cybersecurity controls to ensure systems, networks, operational technology (OT), and third-party integrations meet regulatory, contractual, and enterprise compliance requirements. Key deliverables for this role:

Translate regulatory requirements into enforceable technical controls. Ensure enterprise policy alignment across IT, OT, and third-party environments.

Required and Desired Qualifications:

Core Technical Skills (Non-negotiables):

  • System vulnerability analysis
  • Windows OS proficiency
  • Linux OS proficiency
  • Networking fundamentals
  • NIST 800-171

Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have):

  • Risk Analysis
  • Security Technical Implementation Guides
  • System administration

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all equipment assets in accordance with iRAMP requirements to ensure proper accountability, configuration management, and cybersecurity risk tracking throughout each asset's lifecycle.
  • Providing cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for production and procurement of TE
  • Install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing of production hardware.
  • Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.
  • Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE to controlled networks or enterprises

Tools / Technologies Required:

  • Nessus
  • Splunk

Years of Experience Required: 2

Education Required: STEM Degree
