MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Job Description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a hospital team in Wichita, KS. The MRI Technologist will prepare and position patients, follow physician scanning instructions, operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, and assist with contrast administration and routine unit workflows. This role supports a busy department equipped with GE imaging systems and an electronic medical record.

Minimum Qualifications:

\n

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (MR).
• Active state licensure for MRI technologists.
• Minimum 6 months of recent MRI technologist experience. (Client requires at least 6 months current MRI Tech experience.)
• BLS certification.
• Experience with administering contrast agents and operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images.

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

• Experience with GE MRI equipment, including GE Artist systems.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma or critical care environments.
• Experience using Meditech or similar EMR systems.

Assignment Details

\n

• Shift hours: 1900–0700.
• Position supports a hospital MRI department with multiple MRI units.
• Department average volume approximately 32 exams per day.
• May require teamwork across a small night staff; strong collaboration skills expected.
