Job Description

The Class A or B Dump Truck Driver plays a crucial role in the transportation of construction debris and landscaping materials, ensuring timely and safe delivery during day shifts. This position involves operating dump trucks efficiently as part of a fleet team, driving an average of 50-150 miles daily, adhering to safety protocols, and conducting basic vehicle inspections to maintain operational reliability.

Responsibilities

Operate Class A or B dump trucks to transport materials such as construction debris and landscaping supplies
Handle loading and unloading of materials safely and efficiently
Comply with all safety regulations and traffic laws during operation
Navigate assigned routes using maps and GPS for timely deliveries
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
Document driving logs and report on delivery status
Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Manage time to meet scheduled routes and delivery deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience
Possession of Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Demonstrated skills in defensive driving and vehicle maintenance knowledge
Proficient in using maps and GPS navigation systems
Familiarity with safety procedures and compliance standards
Effective time management and communication skills
Physical stamina to handle demanding job requirements
