- Proactively maintain automated dispensing systems to ensure seamless, secure medication access for clinical units.
- Accurately prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds and repackage medications according to strict CPhT safety standards.
- Manage the pharmacy's lifeblood by overseeing inventory, receiving supplies, and ensuring all stock meets regulatory storage requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact, triaging complex inquiries and providing vital information to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Partner with Pharmacists to deliver high-level distributive services and maintain the technical integrity of the pharmacy department.
- Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
- Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
- Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
- This position will cover both Saint Thomas Medical Partners Midtown and Saint Thomas Heart in Nashville, TN
- 2+ years of CPhT experience
- Advanced CPhT preferred
