Travel RN - Med/Surg 12hr Nights (REQ: 3201603) Location: Springfield, IL Pay Rate: Up to $65/hr (combined taxable hourly + tax‑free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Monitor vital signs and patient status. Provide pre‑ and postoperative care, wound care, and pain management. Administer medications and treatments, observing reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Respond to emergencies and assist in life‑saving procedures as needed. Requirements R.N. license in state of assignment. BLS required; ACLS preferred. Experience in medical‑surgical units preferred. Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills. Hospital settings (Med‑Surg units, post‑op recovery, step‑down).
