Pharmacist In Charge (Pic)Rx relief is seeking a qualified pharmacist in charge (PIC) / staff pharmacist for a hospital facility in Houston, TX. This dual-role position combines hands-on clinical staffing with pharmacy oversight, offering a stable daytime schedule and competitive compensation.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily hospital pharmacy staffing duties, including order verification, medication dispensing, and clinical profile reviews.Manage PIC operational duties, ensuring total compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations, federal laws, and hospital policies.Oversee drug distribution, inventory management, and sterile compounding adherence within the facility.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to optimize inpatient therapeutic outcomes.QualificationsActive, unencumbered Texas pharmacist license (required).Prior hospital pharmacy staffing and leadership/PIC experience preferred.Strong clinical decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.Flexibility to support periodic weekend shifts and on-call rotations when necessary.Position HighlightsTop-tier compensation starting at $80+/hr.Desirable weekday shift schedule (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).Dynamic environment backed by Rx relief's dedicated healthcare staffing support.To apply, please submit your resume today!
