CNC Machinist - Direct Hire - Pay Based on Experience

Cross Plains, WI

A client of ours is hiring CNC Machinists for 2nd and 3rd shift. This is a direct hire, permanent position with a 4-day work week, excellent benefits, profit sharing, and opportunities for advancement through hands-on training.

Pay and Schedule

Pay based on experience
2nd shift: 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, plus $1.50/hr shift differential
3rd shift: 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, plus $2.00/hr shift differential
No 1st shift positions available

What You Will Do

Assist with CNC machining, drilling, milling, and turning
Sharpen and maintain tooling using precision grinding equipment
Build, repair, and maintain molds and tooling
Set up CNC machines and make program adjustments
Read prints and use precision measuring equipment
Maintain quality standards and a clean, safe work area

What You Bring

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work with tools and machinery
Dependable work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

Nice to Have

Trade school or technical training in machining, manufacturing, or Tool & Die
CNC machining or programming experience
Previous machine shop or manufacturing experience
Familiarity with measuring equipment
