Location: Detroit, Michigan, 48201
Shift: 5x8 Eve Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Duration: 26 Weeks
Pay: Up to $2,100 Weekly Gross
Job Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures while providing high-quality patient care in accordance with facility protocols and physician orders. The ideal candidate should be experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely
- Review images for quality and completeness
- Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and departmental protocols
Requirements & Certifications
- Minimum 5 years of recent ultrasound technologist experience required
- ARDMS certification required
- BLS - AHA certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
