Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients in both adult and NICU/pediatric service lines
• Operate and manage various respiratory and high flow oxygen equipment
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while delivering excellent patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using EMR systems

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT- Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
