Job Overview

We are seeking a Program Administration Specialist I for a 6-month contract assignment. This role provides essential administrative and program coordination support to ensure the smooth operational efficiency of our IT initiatives. It is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic public health IT environment in the heart of downtown Richmond.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track day-to-day administrative operations within the IT department.
• Manage, organize, and maintain digital documentation, program files, and tracking spreadsheets.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal staff, handling inquiries and scheduling needs.
• Assist with procurement tracking, invoicing routing, or onboarding documentation as required.
• Ensure departmental compliance with standard operating procedures and agency guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in administrative support, program tracking, or an office coordination role (IT environment experience is a plus but not required).
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a professional environment.
