Medical Records Rep Coordinator for GI in Oregon City Full‑time position. Hybrid/Remote with salary range of $25.03 - $33.87 per hour. Location Providence Willamette Falls Medical Plaza II Lower Level, Oregon City, Portland or SW Washington (must reside in one of these areas). Description Join us at The Oregon Clinic as a Full‑time Medical Records Representative Coordinator. In this role you will perform medical records functions in our Gastroenterology South Clinic, providing efficient and accurate service to patients and providers. Responsibilities Provide coverage for all Medical Records functions, including indexing, records preparation, recalls, fax management, results letters, and records requests. Review workload daily and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion. Train and support staff on medical records workflows, policies, and procedures. Monitor work quality, productivity, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards. Serve as a resource for staff and providers regarding medical records processes and documentation requirements. Identify workflow improvement opportunities and assist with implementation of process enhancements. Assist leadership with reporting, auditing, and department metrics. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper document management within the EMR. Perform administrative tasks such as Aura Report, daily stats, and recall review. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of two years of work experience, preferably in a medical office; specialty GI experience is a plus. Experience with electronic medical records or the ability to learn new programs. Knowledge of medical terminology, records policies and procedures, and compliance with safety/OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Experience training and mentoring medical records staff on workflows, policies, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
