Deburr Operator

Manufacturing Opportunity

A great entry-level opportunity to start in the manufacturing industry within a growing company! Major duties and responsibilities:

1. Deburr parts as needed using proper tools.
2. Hone parts.
3. Pack parts.
4. Wash and dip parts.
5. Ability to learn to drill, tap and flange.
6. Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
7. Occasionally receive, validate, and process incoming parts from outside sources. Activities of this role include notification to purchasing of missing/discrepant packing slips, entering transactions into E2, and handling and processing all necessary paperwork.
8. Any other task assigned by management

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be:

• Able to read job travelers.
• Able to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
• Able to punch in and out as needed on computers.
• Able to effectively use computers.
• Have solid basic math skills.

Abilities:

• Good listening, problem sensitivity, quick response reaching time, arm-hand steadiness and rate control.
• Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining and entering accurate information in B&B ERP system.
• Analyzing information and evaluation results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Providing information to supervisors and co-workers via telephone, written form, e-mail or in person.
• The ability to meet strict deadlines or be able to communicate those that cannot be met.
• Must follow all safety procedures and policies as mandated by B&B.
• Ability to stand on hard surface for the entire work shift.
• Frequent walking.
