We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges. As a senior platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms. The world can’t wait.You Have:5+ years of experience in platform engineering or systems engineering within classified environments5+ years of experience with AWS, including IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB/ALB/NLB, and CloudWatch5+ years of experience with cloud environments, programming languages, and supporting CI/CDExperience operating production Kubernetes clustersExperience with Linux‑based systems such as RedHat or CentOS and scripting languages such as Python or BashExperience creating technical documentation, system diagrams, and SOPs Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, container registry management, and image‑hardening approachesTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphHS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in DevSecOps or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in DevSecOpsNice If You Have:Experience with using AI tools for developmentExperience supporting Intelligence Community mission partnersExperience operating AWS EKSKnowledge of cloud‑native tooling or vulnerability‑analysis conceptsKnowledge of modernization frameworks used across mission programsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
