RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 rotating day/night shifts (0700-1930 & 1900-0730)
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) in a six-week period
• Float to ICU, ED, and Med Surg as needed
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of nursing experience required within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
• ICU experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Work in both IMC and ICU units caring for cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses
• Manage patients with ventilators/tracheostomies, IV non-titratable drips, HFNC, and dialysis equipment
• Handle specialized procedures including blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, and wound care
• Utilize interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Self-scheduling with one pre-approved time off request allowed

The facility features a 12-bed progressive care unit with a daily census of 9 patients, offering specialized equipment including ventilators, dialysis machines, and high-flow nasal cannula systems.
