Summary We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Leadec. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work with the engineering team to successfully and efficiently deliver high-quality mechanical engineering solutions to our external and internal customers. The position will report the Mechanical Engineering Group Manager. Responsibilities Expertise creating, designing, installing, and building conveyor systems inside automotive facilities Work as a part of our engineering team or individually as directed by your supervisor Provide field engineering support for the installation and modification of equipment during summer shutdowns Use your engineering skills to design new or modify existing plant processing equipment, steel structures or system components 3-D Modeling, design and analysis 2-D CAD general arrangement and detailing Generation of Bills of Material for purchase or fabrication Team collaboration with systems engineering, project management and installation crews Field investigation including feasibility analysis, field measurements, and collaboration with installation crews Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience Expertise working with conveyor systems (design, installations, build, etc) Automotive Facility experience As Outlined In The Job Description If you are passionate about engineering solutions that make a difference, we invite you to apply today and become part of our innovative team at Leadec!
