The Strategic Sourcing Program Manager will contribute to the company's success by leading strategic initiatives that influence business decision-making, improve department maturity, and drive value across multiple sourcing categories. Ideal candidates will be strong generalists with exceptional problem-solving skills, project management capability, analytical acumen, and the ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.

The Strategic Sourcing Program Manager is an individual contributor role that reports to the Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager. While the role will work cross-functionally with clinical and technical experts across areas such as Dental Supplies, Equipment, Lab Services, Facilities, IT, Marketing, Education, Human Resources, and Recruiting, there will be a particular focus on supporting initiatives related to Lab Services.

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

• Lead and project manage strategic initiatives to enhance Sourcing operations across key spend categories by developing project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely execution of key deliverables (example projects: roll out of new clinical workflows, development of customized procure-to-pay system, etc.)
• Translate complex, ambiguous problems into structured project plans and independently manage timelines and deliverables
• Drive adoption of trusted suppliers and strategic changes across supported dental offices by engaging with doctors and Operations partners to influence behavior change
• Regularly communicate context, status, and outcome of in-process or proposed initiatives to leadership within the department and cross-functionally as needed to ensure alignment
• Apply technical and business process knowledge to assimilate large data sets and structure reporting that enables decision-making on operational priorities and supplier contract adherence
• Structure approach for quantitative analyses (using SAP data and Excel) on lab partners cost or performance improvement opportunities; synthesize findings and next steps for executive audience and collaborate with suppliers and Operations partners to implement
• Monitor market trends and conduct competitive benchmarks to identify cost savings and develop strategic recommendations for improving clinical supplies, equipment, and lab cost management
• Review and/or negotiate supplier partner contracts to ensure favorable pricing, terms, and compliance with organizational and industry standards
• Lead sourcing initiatives, including competitive RFP events and supplier contract negotiations, to optimize spend, improve supplier performance, and enhance organizational efficiency

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Finance, Business or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, strategy, finance, and/or consulting
• Ability to travel up to 1 time per month for 2-3 days at a time
• Advanced technical skills with Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel (Macros, xlookups, IF statements, and PivotTables a must)
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Proven ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems, analyze trade-offs, and drive to actionable solutions
• Comfortability working independently and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and structure work to achieve measurable business outcomes
• Ability to measure the effectiveness of business decisions by developing and reporting out KPIs
• Ability to lead and collaborate across functions
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication
• Confident presenter with the ability to engage and influence Senior Leadership

Desireable Quualifications:

• Preferred candidates should be within driving distance of St. Louis, MO, Effingham, IL, or Indianapolis, IN.
• MBA or similar advanced degree from a top-tier university preferred
