Clinical Dialysis TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Dialysis Technician to join our team. As a Clinical Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing dialysis treatments and ensuring the well-being of our patients.Location: 16151 19 Mile Rd. Suite 200 Clinton Township, MI 48038General Summary:Perform dialysis treatments according to prescribed protocols and physician orders.Monitor patients during dialysis treatment, assessing vital signs and responding to any changes in condition.Set up and operate dialysis machines, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as needed.Administer medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed by the physician.Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and self-care techniques.Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including documenting treatment activities and patient progress.Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards in the dialysis unit.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.This posting represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and duties.
