Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community. Job Summary Essen is looking for a Pain Management Specialist who evaluates pain and treats a wide range of pain problems. The pain management Doctor treats chronic and sudden pain ailments such as long-lasting, chronic, pain such as low back pain and neck pain. Assess and treat patients in accordance with best practice standards and all applicable regulatory standards and provide evidence-informed medical and/or interventional pain management to patients based on appropriate clinical indication and meet high standards of care. Responsibilities Assess and treat patients in accordance with best practice standards and all applicable regulatory standards. Provide evidence-informed medical and/or interventional pain management to patients based on appropriate clinical indication and meet high standards of care. Utilize fluoroscopy or ultrasound to perform most interventions. Evaluate patients' history and determine what procedures are beneficial using comprehensive pain modalities including physical therapy and medications. Identify the source of a patient's pain, and conduct specialized tests, prescribe medication, and may perform surgery or a procedure for a patient. Participate in team meetings, educational events and clinic social events.
