Inventory Specialist

Inventory SpecialistYour role as an Inventory Specialist is to ensure the right materials are available at the right time to keep production moving and customer commitments on track. As an Inventory Specialist, you'll use data, planning, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory, maintain accurate SAP records, and continuously improve processes that support operational excellence. You will report to the Order Center Supervisor. You will:Inventory Management & OptimizationMaintain inventory accuracy above 98% through cycle counts, reconciliation, and process improvements.Analyze inventory trends, forecast needs, and adjust reorder points and safety stock levels.Manage SCF6 inventory and identify opportunities for material reuse.SAP & Inventory ControlMaintain accurate SAP inventory, including consumptions, scrap transactions, and discrepancy resolution.Troubleshoot inventory issues, manage exception reporting, and support SAP best practices.Material & Production PlanningRelease purchase requisitions and production orders for inventory and Kanban materials.Coordinate stock allocations and inventory requirements with Planning, Engineering, and Procurement.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementLead inventory review meetings and partner across functions to address inventory needs and risks.Drive improvements that increase inventory accuracy, material availability, and operational efficiency.To succeed, you will need:At least 1 year of experience, working with material management, inventory transactions, or a similar role.A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system.Working knowledge of inventory control principles, Kanban systems, and cycle counting practices.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory trends and usage data.In return, we offer:Culture of trust and accountability.Lifelong learning and career growth.Innovation powered by people.Comprehensive compensation and benefits including base salary, annual bonus structure, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and flexible working hours.Job location: On-Site at our office in Voorheesville, United States (US).Contact information: Talent Acquisition Team: Cassandra Quinn
