Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on claims including unpaid insurance, commercial, and self-pay accounts.
• Communicate with carriers regarding outstanding claims and reimbursements.
• Process claim adjustments and refunds when appropriate.
• Handle patient inquiries via phone calls and correspondence.
• Maintain account records with accuracy and updates.
• Review billing regulations, contracts, and claim requirements.
• Provide customer service to resolve billing-related issues.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Associate's Degree
• Healthcare Billing or Claims Certifications
