PLC Programmer

Large manufacturing company is looking for a PLC Controls Specialist for their facility in central NE.

Basic relocation for candidates within a few hours - no sponsorship available

The PLC Controls Specialist works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure automation systems operate safely and efficiently

Key Responsibilities ~

• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley)

• Support robotic welding cells (Fanuc preferred)

• Diagnose electrical, sensor, and control system issues

• Assist with HMI updates and control modifications

• Support preventive maintenance and downtime reduction efforts

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic

• Assist with new equipment installation and startup

• Maintain accurate documentation of changes and repairs

Qualification s ~

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2+ years experience in automated manufacturing or industrial maintenance

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

• Basic PLC troubleshooting & programming experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
