This role is highly demanding, dynamic, and currently lacks structure — which is something the Senior Supply Chain Program Manager can expect to influence from day one. This person will serve as a Pillar Lead within our operating model, owning the strategic direction, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder communication for an entire portfolio of initiatives — not just individual projects. This isn't a project manager who gets handed a project plan and executes it. This is a strategic leader who: Defines what gets worked on and why (not just how) Owns a portfolio of 10-20+ initiatives simultaneously Builds the systems that make those initiatives manageable Reports to senior leadership and represents their portfolio with confidence Operates with minimal oversight — you set the standard, then you hold others to it If you've built a PMO, scaled a sourcing organization's program management function, or been the person who turned chaos into a repeatable system — this is the role.WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead cross-functional project teams to define scope, develop detailed project plans, and manage execution from start to finish. Drive the design and implementation of new supply chain processes and systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and are built for scale. Serve as the central point of communication for your projects, facilitating meetings and providing clear status updates and executive summaries to stakeholders and leadership. Manage project schedules, identify critical path activities, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep initiatives on track. Champion change management for your initiatives, developing communication plans, training materials, and adoption strategies to ensure new processes and tools are successful. Hold project teams and stakeholders accountable for deliverables and deadlines, navigating organizational complexity to clear roadblocks and drive decisions. Leverage the work of Program Analysts and subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive data analysis and process mapping supports your project's goals. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMO by refining project management methodologies, operating frameworks, and sharing best practices with the team. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership clearly and concisely. Proven ability to drive accountability and deliver results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Track record of defining operating frameworks: how teams prioritize work, how status is communicated, how portfolios are managed, and how leadership gets visibility. Experience implementing Product Ownership or similar structured methodology to drive consistency across a team of PMs. Familiarity with pillar/portfolio models where one leader aggregates multiple workstreams and reports consolidated status to leadership Direct experience working within or alongside a Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) organization — understanding how supplier agreements, cost negotiations, and sourcing strategy connect to broader supply chain operations. Familiarity with agreement management, should-costing, supplier performance management, and strategic sourcing tools/processes. Experience driving cross-functional alignment between sourcing teams, buyers, and program management. Understanding of how sourcing decisions impact production readiness, lead times, and material cost at scale. Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 8+ years of experience in supply chain or program management within aerospace/defense. Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and their reporting/data capabilities. Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Foundry, or similar). Experience with database management and data analysis (SQL, advanced Excel, analytical tools). Knowledge of supply chain KPIs, compliance requirements (DFARS, CPSR, CMMC), and performance metrics.
