Full-Time Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces following infection control guidelines
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly, including biohazard materials
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Follow established safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and infection control standards preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–50 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work on feet for extended periods
