Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skillful Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at CareSync Healthcare Solutions. Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will work full-time in an onsite surgical center, where the dynamic and fast-paced environment requires adaptability and quick decision-making skills. The operating hours are typically Monday through Friday, primarily from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, allowing for a balanced work-life structure while contributing to patient care. The facility is designed to facilitate a multidisciplinary team approach, ensuring integrated care delivery and ongoing collaboration among healthcare professionals, which is crucial for maintaining continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health by reviewing medical histories and current health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests and imaging studies to diagnose health conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of health issues following established clinical guidelines and within the scope of family medicine.
• Create individualized treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases, applying evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe medications, monitor their effects and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and patient schedules to support effective care management.
• Educate patients and their families on preventative health measures, treatment options, and disease management strategies.
• Manage patients' overall health and promote lifestyle changes that reduce the risk of chronic conditions.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with advancements in primary care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a healthcare setting, ideally in family medicine or a similar field.
• Expertise in diagnosing and treating common illnesses and managing chronic conditions.
• Strong knowledge of health care regulations and patient-centric care approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective patient interactions.

• Must possess a DEA number for prescribing medications.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physician Assistant position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a rich benefits package.
