Overview Patient Care Associate (PCA) – no experience or certification required. We provide a paid, comprehensive training program. The PCA works under the direction of licensed nursing staff, ensuring safe, quality care and engaging with patients and families. Responsibilities Assist patients with personal hygiene activities such as bathing, grooming, and skin care. Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and turns. Maintain a clean and orderly patient environment to promote safety and infection prevention. Notify clinical staff of changes in a patient's condition or safety concerns. Apply infection control concepts and techniques. Monitor, record, and communicate the patient's condition, activities, behaviors, and safety concerns using computerized documentation systems and other appropriate means. Take vital signs and perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and glucose checks. Qualifications No experience required; we provide paid training.
