Junior Interior Designer

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in creating interior design concepts and detailed design plans
• Develop layouts, elevations, and construction drawings using design software
• Support space planning, lighting design, color selection, and finish specifications
• Prepare 3D models, renderings, and design presentations
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and project management activities
• Review construction documents, contracts, and technical specifications
• Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and design implementation
• Support renovation and remodeling projects from concept through completion
• Maintain project documentation and assist with multiple ongoing projects

• Degree or coursework in Interior Design or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong drafting and CAD skills
• Knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, lighting, and color theory
• Familiarity with renovation and remodeling projects
• Basic project management and coordination experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
• Studio Designer experience preferred
