Field Coverage Representative - Inside Sales Pharma

AbbVie seeks a Field Coverage Representative for inside sales in Austin, TX, supporting pharmaceutical field sales through 50% travel and 50% hybrid work. The role involves managing healthcare professional relationships via phone and in-person outreach, delivering product education, and driving sales objectives through quota-driven activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and virtual coverage for field sales vacancies across assigned healthcare professional territories
• Execute sales techniques to deliver product education, cost information, samples, and resource materials to targeted healthcare professionals
• Manage account relationships through pre-call planning, field resource coordination, customer education, and activity reporting
• Maintain product expertise and competitive knowledge while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Meet established call volume metrics and sales attainment targets while building and expanding customer relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum one year of relevant sales experience with proven track record
• Strong verbal communication skills and superior organizational abilities
• Healthcare industry experience with physician and office staff interaction preferred
• Medical terminology knowledge and clinical technique understanding preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce knowledge preferred
