Key Responsibilities\n

  • Manage a consistent caseload, establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries with a diverse range of clients.

  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, stability, and discuss discharge plans as appropriate.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation including progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients’ needs and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.
  • \n
  • Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions, providing evidence-based interventions to support clients' mental health goals.
  • \n
  • Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and discuss case management strategies.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and refer clients to additional resources as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on serving youth clients who may be facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds and may experience issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or behavioral concerns. As an LPCC, you will play a critical role in helping these young individuals navigate their emotional experiences and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • \n
  • Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • \n
  • Proven ability to meet internal credentialing requirements and comply with clinical setting regulations.

  • A minimum of one year’s experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals in substance abuse recovery.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and providing individual and group therapy.

  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to efficiently navigate electronic health record systems and perform basic administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working specifically with youth populations in a clinical setting.

  • Familiarity with community mental health resources in Los Angeles.

Compensation and Benefits\n
