Position Summary A well-established civil engineering firm known for its trusted advisor approach is seeking to add a Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager to their team. This role involves leading a team in the design and planning of public agency transportation projects for clients such as Caltrans, cities, and counties throughout California. Core Responsibilities Leading and managing project deliverables (geometrics, design calculations, reports, specifications, cost estimates). Coordinating teams, managing client and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring quality control. Providing solutions to optimize transportation networks. Contributing to business development, including writing proposals and seeking new opportunities. Mentoring team members and engaging in professional development. Position Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Experience: 10+ years in civil transportation design. Skills: Proficiency with MicroStation or Civil 3D. Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team and engage in business development. Benefits & Compensation Salary Range: $165,000 – $205,000 base compensation plus bonuses for performance and employee referrals.
