This role focuses on product knowledge, consistency, speed of service, and warm hospitality. The Barista contributes to a welcoming environment by engaging with guests, maintaining service standards, and ensuring every beverage meets quality expectations.Greet each guest in a prompt, courteous manner and explain available menu items in detailRecord guest orders accurately, repeating the order back to confirm correctnessAccurately input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring proper communication to kitchen and bar ensure dietary restrictions and/or allergies are clearly noted on tickets and communicated to culinary teamsPrepare beverage orders accurately and consistently according to established recipes and standardsServe guests using proper utensils and service techniques requiring manual dexterity and attention to detailSupport collecting and delivering food orders from the kitchen when neededEnsure order forms are completed daily for next-day service and distributed to appropriate departmentsProcess cash, credit card, and charge transactions for all retail and Food & Beverage ordersBalance tip slips for each server and ensure accuracy of cashiering functionsRun financial, cashier, and end-of-day revenue reports as requiredPrepare end-of-shift cashier reports and ensure assigned bank is accurately balancedMaintain station cleanliness before, during, and after shifts, ensuring proper setup and organizationWipe and sanitize all work surfaces, equipment, door handles, pens, and high-touch areas during shiftsPerform side duties including restocking condiments, utensils, retail items, beverages, and suppliesMaintain knowledge of hotel layout, outlets, and hours of operation to assist guests effectivelyQualificationsMinimum of one (1) year experience as a barista preferredPrevious hospitality or customer service experience preferredHigh school diploma preferredStrong communication and guest service skills with a professional demeanorAble to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and cash handlingAble to follow instructions and maintain service standards consistentlySuperior professional appearance and positive attitude requiredFlexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysAble to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., food handler's permit, alcohol service certification)About Auberge Collection Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs.
