Emergency Medicine Physician – Sampson Regional Medical Center | Clinton, NCSampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM/AOBEM or FM with ED experience) to join our collegial, hospital-based Emergency Department team. This is an independent hospital where physicians practice with true clinical autonomy in a supportive, patient-centered environment.Position OverviewShifts: 12-hour day (7A-7P) or night (7P-7A)Monthly shifts: 12Coverage: 1 day physician, 1 night physician, strong PA supportHard sign-out at the end of each shiftAnnual ED volume: ~32,000 (~90-100 patients/day)Acuity: Average ESI 3-422-bed ED with hospitalist and 24/7 radiology coverageAir and ground transport support for high-acuity transfersOn-site specialties: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and UrologyCompensation & Benefits1099 contractLWBS (Left Without Being Seen) performance bonusMalpractice coverage with tailAbout the OrganizationSampson Regional Medical Center has served the region since 1950 and remains one of the few independent, community-based hospitals in North Carolina.
