Used Car Manager — Bob Boyte Honda Moss Point

Bob Boyte Honda Moss Point is hiring a Used Car Manager who knows how to buy, price, turn, and sell pre-owned inventory.

We are looking for a strong used car leader who understands inventory, gross, appraisals, internet pricing, recon, wholesale, and sales team accountability. This is not a desk-only position. We need someone who can manage the used car business every day and help grow the store.

What We’re Looking For

We want a Used Car Manager who can:

• Appraise trades accurately and competitively

• Buy inventory from auctions, customers, service lane, and outside sources

• Price used vehicles correctly for today’s market

• Manage aging inventory and keep vehicles turning

• Work with the sales team to close deals

• Control recon, wholesale loss, and inventory expenses

• Make sure every used vehicle is photoed, priced, online, and ready to sell

• Help build a winning used car department

The right person is competitive, organized, numbers-driven, and knows how to make used cars profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily used vehicle operation

• Desk used car deals and help salespeople close customers

• Appraise customer trades and service-lane opportunities

• Source and purchase used inventory

• Monitor market pricing, book values, days supply, and aging

• Keep 30/60/90-day inventory under control

• Work with service and recon to get cars frontline-ready quickly

• Review online listings, photos, descriptions, pricing, and merchandising

• Manage wholesale decisions and aged units

• Track used car gross, volume, inventory turn, recon cost, and wholesale loss

• Coach salespeople on used car walkarounds, value-building, and closing

• Communicate daily with the General Manager and ownership on inventory needs

A successful Used Car Manager at Bob Boyte Honda Moss Point will:

• Keep inventory fresh and moving

• Reduce aged inventory

• Build a stronger used car process

• Help the sales team sell more vehicles

Qualifications

• Automotive sales management or used car management experience preferred

• Strong appraisal and inventory management skills

• Ability to desk deals and support the sales team

• Knowledge of market-based pricing tools, auctions, and vehicle valuation

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
