About the Role:
Stargait Management Group Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in Vancouver, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives by supporting high-quality rehabilitative care in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the supervising PT
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment and equipment
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations and standards of care
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current or eligible PTA licensure in the state of Washington
- CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
- Previous clinical experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, exercise techniques, and patient care protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
