Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Hybrid, Rosslyn, VA

Clearance Level: Secret, Must Have Clearance to Start

Job Description

You will be responsible for creating and deploying cloud-native and containerized Java applications using modern cloud technologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure the delivery of scalable, high-performing solutions across cloud-native and cloud-agnostic environments.

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native and containerized applications using Java and modern cloud technologies. Work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications leveraging cloud native and cloud agnostic services.


Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and cloud technologies.
• Implement microservices architecture and develop RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD automation and deployment workflows.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across cloud platforms.
• Apply security best practices to protect applications and data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, and security.
• Work closely with architects, product managers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and maintainability.

Education and Background

• High School Diploma or equivalent(GED) required.
• Secret Clearance

Years of Experience

5 - 8 years

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications on AWS
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Background in DevSecOps environments
• Strong skills in performance tuning and optimization
• Previous consulting experience

Working Conditions

Onsite in Rosslyn, VA twice a week.

$140,000 - $150,000 a year
