Eaton’s IS AER ITD Aerospace Interconnect division is currently seeking a Inspection Supervisor - 1st Shift - Aerospace MFG..The expected annual salary range for this role is $99000 - $125,000 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Relocation is not available for this role.What you’ll do:PRIMARY FUNCTION:Reporting to the Site Quality Leadership, this position gives direction to the Quality Control function. This position provides leadership, mentoring, evaluation and development of the Quality Inspectors .Establish and maintain robust process controls and improvement programs related to Suppliers, Receiving Inspection, In-process Inspection, Final Inspection and Quality Assurance.In addition the Quality Control Supervisor will facilitate problem solving, ensure coordination and communication of corrective and preventive actions, and assist the quality manager in system development and maintenance.The Quality Control Supervisor will also provide coordination with Quality Engineering in support of customer satisfaction, supplier performance program, corrective action and quality initiatives.Additionally, the incumbent will encourage and support employee participation at all levels in the resolution of product quality problems, implement employee recognition, and promote positive Company-oriented attitudes towards quality assurance and reliability of Eaton Aerospace products.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Develop, implement and monitor performance against short and long-range plans to achieve quality control and objectives.Implement short and long-range plans relative to quality assurance.Identify needs, and develop the quality control departmentDevelop or modify quality procedures, metrics and processes to achieve quality and on time delivery goals.Provide direction to ensure compliance with all applicable customer requirements and government regulations involving product quality.Select and develop competent inspectors and auditors to ensure quality goals are achieved.Provide reports as required and drive corrective action and preventive action for timely and effective completion.Assist as required in all qualify assurance functions as necessary.Assure effective communication and reporting to customers.Assure compliance with control phase of quality systems and initiatives such as internal auditing, statistical process control and testing.Support the development and utilization of quality feedback tools to maintain and implement "lessons learned".. Support the achievement of Business Operating System Quality Goals and Objectives, as indentified by the Quality Leadership.Qualifications:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:HS Degree with 10 years ..ele 5 years with AS accredited Degree ... else 2 years with 4 year Degree.2 years leading projects or direct supervisory people managementMinimum 3 years experience in a MFG.
