Position Overview Advisor Coach – Breakthrough Manchester College-Bound (SNHU) Location: Manchester, NH. Work part‑time (up to 10 hours per week). One Saturday per month on site at 2500 North River Road, Manchester, NH; remaining hours flexible and can be completed remotely. Key Responsibilities Track all communication between dedicated advisors and their advisees to provide oversight, feedback, and accountability. Reach out to the advising team once per week with logistical reminders and the Coach Calendar for the week. Respond to any advisor questions or comments that arise during advising, offering support. Provide specific, structured feedback on workshops that advisors run, including pre- and post‑review, to coach advisor progress. Plan and lead two special events (campus tour and community block) per grade level, with support of the grade‑level advising team. Communicate with the Director about any advisor challenges, successes, or concerns. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Two or more years of teaching or working in education with high school students. Understanding of the challenges facing first‑generation and under‑represented students. Knowledge of adolescent development, high school and college students, pedagogical frameworks and best teaching practices. Proficiency in engaging college students through digital mediums and platforms, and ability to reflect on in‑person workshops to provide verbal and written feedback. Self‑motivation, self‑regulation, self‑direction, detail‑oriented, and highly organized. Compensation Pay: $30 per hour (up to $45 per hour based on skills, qualifications, and experience).
