Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a Non-Invasive Cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac nursing experience with a focus on stress testing and diagnostic cardiac procedures. This RN will assist with patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response throughout cardiac testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure patient assessments and ensure patients are appropriately prepared for testing.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses throughout stress testing procedures.
• Administer medications according to established protocols and provider orders.
• Assist with Nuclear Medicine, Dobutamine, MRI, CCTA, and other non-invasive cardiac testing.
• Recognize abnormal findings or adverse patient responses and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, imaging staff, Nuclear Medicine, and other members of the cardiovascular team.
• Provide patient education regarding testing procedures, expectations, and post-procedure instructions.

Preferred Candidate: An experienced cardiac RN who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced diagnostic environment. Hands-on experience with a variety of cardiac stress testing modalities is preferred. Rotating weekend coverage is required.
