Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Traditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health and behavioral diagnoses. Location: Clarks Summit, PA; Factoryville, PA; Dalton, PA; Lake Winola, PA and surrounding areas. Shift: Full-time, Part-time, Weekday and Weekend Shifts Available! Overnights. Immediate Needs: South Abington Township, PA - Part-time Weekends! Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. Job Duties Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing) Companionship Appropriate communication/social skills Light housekeeping and chores Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills Meeting individual goals and outcomes Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.) Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Mobile Device & EVV Requirements: This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care/home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
