Job Opportunity: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
Facility: Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Winter Park
Location: Lakeland, Florida
Pay Rate: $32 - $36 per hour
Shift: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Physical Therapist in delivering safe and effective therapy sessions.
- Adhere to departmental policies, including a professional dress code, to maintain a positive and respectful environment.
- Ensure resident safety by following strict safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Keep the therapy area clean, organized, and stocked with essential equipment.
- Promptly report any hazardous conditions or faulty equipment for timely resolution.
- Utilize personal protective equipment as needed for safety when handling bodily fluids.
- Immediately notify your supervisor of any missing or unclear labels or safety data sheets (SDSs).
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing home or rehabilitation setting.
