Your future role at a glance Location: Oshkosh, WI Facility: Mercy Hospital Department: Wound Care Schedule: PRN How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver compassionate patient care by applying best-in-class clinical practices to create a safe, supportive, and healing environment. Coordinate holistic care plans alongside multidisciplinary teams, serving as the central link to ensure every patient receives seamless, personalized treatment. Drive proactive health monitoring by tracking and communicating patient condition changes in real time, enabling timely interventions and better clinical outcomes. Execute precision medical orders with high attention to detail to maintain care accuracy and continuity across shifts. Champion smooth discharge transitions in collaboration with healthcare teams, empowering patients and families with the resources needed for ongoing recovery at home. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Certification specializing in Wound Care credentialed from the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCCB) preferred. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
