The Last Resort offers a unique and powerful approach to addiction recovery through our Equine Therapy program. Nestled in the serene outskirts of Austin on our 55-acre ranch, our campus provides men with the opportunity to heal and grow from drug and alcohol abuse.We are seeking Registered Nurses to add to our dynamic team! The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services focused on addiction treatment and recovery. This position involves providing direct patient care, monitoring patient progress, and administering treatments in accordance with established medical protocols. The RN will serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that individuals receive compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to their unique needs. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to develop and implement effective care plans that promote healing and long-term recovery. Ultimately, the RN contributes to improving patient outcomes by combining clinical expertise with patient education and support throughout the recovery journey.Bonus Structure - $2,500 Total$500 – Upon Hire$500 – 90 Days$1,500 – One YearResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients undergoing addiction treatment and recovery, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient statusAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and telemetry monitoring when applicableEducate patients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and health maintenance to empower informed decision-makingAdvocate for patient needs and coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other team members to optimize care deliveryMaintain accurate and timely medical records, participate in care planning meetings, and contribute to quality improvement initiativesMinimum QualificationsCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state or jurisdictionCompletion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing)Experience in healthcare or addiction treatment settingsStrong knowledge of patient care standards, safety protocols, and clinical documentationPreferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare or addiction treatment settingsCertification in Addiction Nursing (e.g., Certified Addictions Registered Nurse - CARN)Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationExperience with telemetry monitoring and managing patients with complex medical needsAdvanced certifications such as Nurse Practitioner (NP) credentialsTraining in patient advocacy and education techniques specific to addiction recoveryExperience working in interdisciplinary healthcare teams within addiction recovery programsAt Bradford Health Services, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering a supportive and rewarding workplace for our employees.
