Repository Support Technician

Overseeing sample management and maintenance duties for a local client, the full-time Repository Support Technician will perform equipment maintenance, ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and assist with inventory management in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Perform sample handling and equipment maintenance in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements Assist with the installation, maintenance, and calibration of storage environments, including diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions Manage inventory of consumables and supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with audit trails Required qualifications High School Diploma with 1 year of experience in equipment maintenance or 6 months of experience in freezer repair and maintenance Vocational training or experience in a mechanical-related field is preferred Experience with scientific equipment repairs is a plus Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks safely Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for basic and intermediate functions
