TENETIVE START DATE FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE APRIL 1, 2026. This is completely dependent on the weather; the position may start a little before or after this date. Preferred Paving LLC. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Screed Machine Operator. As the paving season begins in the Spring we need a hard working operator to join our crew. In this career, you must have the skills to make the pavement as smooth as possible by applying the asphalt to plan specifications and complete projects in a quick and efficient manner while maintain high quality work. Responsibilities:Operate screed to apply asphalt per job specifications Make necessary adjustments for obtaining proper depth Guide and direct dump trucks while backing up to paverRake and shovel asphalt and gravel Maintain equipmentMaintain a clean and safe job site through the entirety of the projectQualifications:Previous paving and operator experience is REQUIREDThorough understanding of all aspects of paving.
