Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise to a dynamic contract opportunity in the Denver area serving a diverse student population as a School Psychologist. This full-time, onsite role spans the academic year from July 31, 2026, through May 26, 2027. Assignments will vary, with caseloads ranging from early childhood through high school, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact across all age levels and needs within the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years previous school-based experience is required
  • Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
  • Strong student assessment skills; up-to-date knowledge of professional school psychology practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and collaborative teaming abilities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and crisis management skills
  • Proficient in computer technology
  • Ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct services to special education students, including group and individual counseling in line with IEP goals
  • Develop multi-tiered interventions to support academic, behavioral, and social/emotional progress
  • Perform comprehensive cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive skills assessments, and interpret evaluation results
  • Participate in safety, crisis, and threat assessment teams, and respond to crisis situations as needed
  • Document and monitor progress, maintain service logs, and communicate outcomes with families and staff
  • Lead and participate in IEP meetings, special education teams, and professional development sessions
  • Consult with families, teachers, building staff, and outside agencies; coordinate community resources
